Our Founder, Nefferitti Dieng is currently working on a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the Massachusetts area and will resume work on her Juris Doctorate (JD) thereafter. Currently, she is the  Law School Liaison of ITechLaw Association. On behalf of the organization she writes articles, build, and manage law school chapters worldwide in addition to various other initiatives. Recently, she accepted the appointment as a National Advisory Board Member in the  National Association of Women on the Rise. She is an appointed notary public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, her commission extends to 2016 and she is a member of the  American Association of Notaries. Summer 2011, Nefferitti will work on several key projects which include but not limited to launching Franklin Pierce University’s first Energy and Sustainability Studies Magazine in an online format, establish student chapters, and increasing student members for the ITechLaw Association.

 

After earning a JD/MBA in Corporate Law and Energy and Sustainability, she plans to aid organizations to restructure for energy efficiency regardless of geographical location in addition to other ventures.

 

Nefferitti earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Business Administration from  Tennessee State University, August 1999. Her professional experience include working with  NBC Universal since 2002 where she gained vast knowledge of legal guidelines, project and time management, researching, negotiation, sharing of resources, purchasing, budgeting, leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills. While working with the NBC Universal family she transitioned into various roles. Nefferitti’s introduction to the NBC family took place when she was selected to work in the prestigious  NBC Page Program at the historic 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, New York.

 

Not long after she crossed the Hudson River to work at MSNBC which at the time was located in Secaucus, New Jersey. Nefferitti initially began as a Production Assistant and was given the opportunity to work as an Associate Producer. She worked in several roles while at  MSNBC including Tape Producer and Anchor Producer.  Prior to, she worked in customer service for years.  Nefferitti gained vast knowledge in the areas of diversification, collections, and personal assistance. 

 

After she produced and directed the documentary film entitled, "Blame the Music?" she accepted the challenge to work in research at  CNBC in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. While in her role at CNBC, she volunteered as the Corporate Contact/Project Manager for the  GE/ NBCU Foundation.  She implemented the "Got Books" program throughout NBC Universal networks and show units.  In this program the network made book and other educational donations to underprivileged high schools.
